Title: Constructing exotic smooth 4-manifolds via lantern substitutions.     Abstract: Continuing from previous talk, we will explore how to construct exotic smooth 4-manifolds via a sequence of topological surgeries: Fiber sum, Rational Blowdown, Logarithmic Transformation and Knot surgery on Lefschetz fibrations, followed by checking its homeomorphism type and finally showing the resulting manifold is exotic via application of the Seiberg-Witten basic classes.
